easter
colossians 3 has been the outstanding theme of the week i reckon.
living a life that reflects the supremacy and deity of Christ.
yesterday in CLAY we learnt about church as a community through col3
and before that we also had like friends over from yf for lunch
and twas really nice to like be able to integrate like what we are learning to wat we already are doing
and like helping people to become more involved in church as a community through hospitality really.
and i realise like that to be able to that in itself is a blessing
yeah. my prayer is that bo and i will be able to be like those older couples who are so generous and hospitable. that even as God blesses us, we will be able to bless other people-- wouldn't that be awesome?
also easter was really cool beans. we went to easterfest at toowoomba right? and the morning kinda started out slow, just walking around listening to diff acts. then i think from the time article one played, it kinda picked up. the violinist was so grand! he was so submerged in the music it was so inspiring. heh.. the highlight i think was the waaaait for switchfoot. like as we were waiting and listening to other bands in the main arena on the grass, huge raindrops began to pelt from the sky. and me and my very optimistic outlook told everyone, "aiya don't worry it'd blow over soon". 2 hours later, we're still standing in the rain, huddled under our picnic rugs, all drenched anticipating switchfoot! THANK GOD they decided to play in the end (they almost didn't due to safety issues?!) and BOY was it a grand set! :) anyways, here are some photos! :)
