randomly melancholic
ok maybe it's not so random.
maybe it's cos it's almost midnight. or it could be the soul jazz i'm listening to atm. perhaps it's the stress that's building up from all the different responsibilities i'm undertaking. also could be that i finally went for a loong swim and am physically exhausted. or pms? i dunno... could be anything really. but i know i should sleep. soon...
have a really bad habit of biting off more than i can chew. ordering more than i can eat. doing more than i should and then pushing myself to excellence.
have another bad habit of reading, reminiscing and then comparing. i want what she has i'd tell myself. and then rationality kicks in and i think... maybe it just looks nice but if i get it, it would cease to be nice anymore. but why do their lives seem so perfect? and why do i even care what their lives are like? is it true i'm not content with mine. but i should be shouldn't i? for how many people wouldn't love to be in my shoes?
in a job interview recently, tmc asked.. 'what is your passion in life'. immediately the TYS answer came to mind. God. but is it true? or just a knee jerk reflex thingy. my response, "you mean work related?". luckily he said yes. if not i really don't know how i would have responded.
plus today i felt suspicious of d's overniceness to me. but i know i shouldn't be. maybe he's just trying to make amends. i should give him the benefit of doubt... i will give him the benefit of doubt.
last thought... being an aunty hasn't changed me much eh. maybe being a mom would. hah.
