i wasn't going to comment. i really wasn't.
but videos make it seem like he's still around. and he just quoted Jesus. and he looks scary. but he used to look so good.
and life is short. and he's got a sweet sweet voice. but he won't ever give another interview again.
and i'm wasting moments of my life typing this. but i just want you to know that life is short.

hEh. so the past week kinda zoomed past in a blur. wat's left is the tattered remains of sunshine peeking through the window blinds.

twas great having dad and mom and even sam around. gave my life a different feel. a different perspective. working and entertaining ain't easy tho. even tho i only worked 2 days last week, i'm absolutely bushed. gonna crash once i finish typing this.

heapsa drama with my bros check in to the airport today as well. was on the phone for an hour at least trying to sort out some stupid credit card verification just to discover at the end all the hullabaloo was for naught and twas all sia's stupid mistake. crap. my telephone bill. and the emotional trauma. haha to top it off, i fell asleep during my jap test today. hah. but twas ok. i still had plenty of time to spare. haha :) i know i'm tired when i fall over AND injure myself. cut my toe today from slipping on the speed hump. hah. yes, bit dumb- was tired!

looking forward to ms d's arrival. o&noe uj thinks brisbane is a black hole?! ;d boo you. don't come then. hope germ found my little note stuffed in the middle of the fence at wharf near the sydney opera house too. how romantic rite? hah.

absolutely enjoyed sydney. totally different from when i met k&v there last year! and very different from brissy/spore too. hEh! loved shopping at the japanese grocers most! hah! moscato kitkat and little edible tau sar men! yumm! really looking forward to visiting Japan sometime. probably next year? hah! destination this year? nEw zEalaNd! anyone keen to join? 28aUg-9sEp! let's go snOwboArding! :)

o and my friend jt. she lost 30kg in 10 months! OMG rite. OMG. inspiring.

short notice

sovereignty is not coincidental.

went online to check for movie-world discount tix in prep for my dear uncle z's highly anticipated arrival tomorrow morning! then decided to check my email on a whim and came across an email by my boss which stated very clearly that today or yesterday's tomorrow would be my last day of work at the facility as they decided not to renew the contract with e-my company. 'O' the guy representing the company tat was to take the place of mine called also (at a different time) to offer me a place to stay and work there and said he'd email me the contract details. wat workings of God, wat favor from Him.

so after getting over the shock tis morn, all my colleagues were really lovely. they said the sweetest things and most of them really looked like they were about to cry. not exaggerating! my aide, the newagepsychic one, who spends heapsa time with me was so emo today... or 'reflective' as she calls it... and i've never seen her, the alpha-female anywhere like that before.

and today was also the first time in a long time- a year perhaps, that i had that many kisses. and today definitely marks the most kisses from the most number of people in a day. twas nice to know that the work i did made a difference and that the life i led there actually impacted most. like one of the sweetest things a colleague said was that i was different from the rest. she said she really liked my up-and-at-em attitude and that i'd leave a vacuum when i left. another patient said i light up the place. ah, you know, oddly enough, it feels slightly like a breakup- the kind where circumstances force you apart. the visible heartaches and tears- albeit not from myself. the emotional attachments. ah, i really have to learn not to sentimental. so fact was i really enjoyed the people there. M esp-- i'll miss working with her. but onward and forwards kodomo. i'll let you know more about the job situation when it becomes clearer. meantime, please do keep praying for lil ol' me :)
