the wait

is it just me or do you agree that sometimes God takes a long time.
like abraham to have a son (from the time he was promised ~26 yrs).
for isaac to get married 40 yrs.
for the rain to flood the earth to start falling from the time noah built his ark
for joseph to get out of jail
for God to send a deliverer to the Israelites (~400yrs).
(started this praying thru the bible thing and am now at exodus so therefore all the OT references)

so long lah!
yet it comes true and it is as he says.
we just finished the mark studies in bible study. and its all about how Jesus IS king. he is the promised one. the Messiah. the one they were waiting for. and he is the one who will open the gates to the kingdom- for it is here. and he is coming again.

so though long, he is coming again.
may that be of encouragement to you.
Jesus is coming again. and maybe the wait may seem long. it's only cos He is patient.
keep persevering. cos it'd be worth it. :)
