fresh scallop sashimi

gathering around the sushi like scavengers.

quick take the photo, i'm hungry.

emm... so my hugest unscandal this week involves an unexpected bearhug from a dr A today. :) heh. he's so funny laah. grandfather already but still in denial. BUT i retain i was ambushed. honestly. o, o. and this guy from jap class- let's call him m too just to make it confusing. so he invited me to go on his fishing in his hugeassboat! haha! i hope he takes me whale-watching instead. haha. but we're going to dinner next sat first (with other people too la!). haha will tell you how it goes.

and today at CLAY we talked about the certainty of salvation and how there is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. How awesome to know that no matter what we've done, or what we might do. or what people think of what we've done, that Christ indeed has done it all for me... for us. That my salvation is not dependent on me. but on Him. AND because of that. on top of just being saved, i (u) then can become co-heirs. like of equal standing- and the same status as Jesus Christ (GOD). omg how i take that for granted sometimes. how i undermine the greatness of God and the vastness of His love for me. Now, may what you just read not be mere words that you glance once over. but may it be a resounding truth in your life. and may you be changed by Him.

I think. what would the world be like if we all took time and thought about God more. Pondered about the reality of heaven and hell and the actual meaning of life. would there be the same amount of senseless violence? would we be content sitting at home watching tv while people starve to death or get imprisoned for their faith and the gospel? but that's not a 'reality' is it. that's too far-fetched. it's not our reality for sure. we're too comfortable in our tiny houses with our tiny circle of friends working a tiny job in our tiny world. i know i'm guilty of that. God help me.
