delayed
finally getting down to typing again. waiting for dance class to start, sitting at a cafe sipping my hazelnut latte. seems like a dream really. a really caffeinated one at tat... in fact i reckon i'm getting a little jumpy from the extra unnecessary late noon neurotransmitters.. oOhlalaAh!
prepare urself for a long post.
so last week was pretty exciting. i moved outta my pretty place at southbank and moved into a new apartment with 2 not-quite-friends-yet-but-soon-to-be-i-hope. this new place is like 10mins from the city and 10mins from UQ too so tat means-- nothing really. haha my new housemates are pauline and derek, 2 of the few sporeans i know. and em, i'll post pics up soon too but i think u've prob seen their faces before? yupps! haha so anyways, it's kinda the first time i'm house-sharing with a guy and haha so thankfully, he's alil effeminate?! haha (don't tell him i said tat)
my room's really pretty too. it came unfurnished so your dear friend here purchased a little bedframe and a coffee-table and decorated it in pink and purple. actually i wanted green sheets and all but i was too lazy to take em out of the packaging so.. maybe when one of you avid readers arrive i shall change the color theme for you! ;) muAahAhaHaAa anyways, it's a shAzzAroOm complete with a little cosycorner foR reAding and rAndom bOuts of nEtTing? hAHaHAa oOh and my biGgest spluRge-- a $50 cushiOn. doN't ask me hOw.. i juSt gOt cARriEd awAy. (don't tell my dad) ;d
AAAAAAAAAnywAaAays...i just wanna praise God for a new believer! ;) hAHa i doN't know if you've evER felt tis wAy but... when i was sharing Christ with this girl, i was just thinking... man, if i were her, i'd think christians are mad for believing something so out of this world! i mean at the same time, this other thot tat went someting like 'for GOd chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise' also flashed in my minds eye but yar, i remember thinking "man, this sounds so outta whack." but i really believe wat i was saying so wat the heck, just share.
my friend, she's really cute too. she stares at me expressionless and listens to all i have to say. and when i finally timidly go... "em... so do you want to believe in Jesus Christ?" she goEs "YES!" and i'm like "OMGOMGOMG!!! you sure..." and she stares at me again in utter bewilderment and asks.. "why are you so surprised?"
and i don't know. i dunno why i was so surprised. maybe it's cos i kinda always get rejected. (aww...haha) or maybe it's cos i remember thinking wat i'm sharing sounds so amazingly unbelievable tat i might not believe if i was hearing it? i dunno. but praise be to GOd, who called & elected this new babe into His kingdom. :)
