too easy

so it's been 5 days. and so far i'm still kinda at ground zero. that means: no house, no car and no church i want to settle down in-- yet.

but i'm making little gains. shortlisted some apartments after visiting at least like 15 over the past few days, test drove a coupla cars and pretended i was race-car-rally-driver and also visited hope-brisbane. :) climbed so many hills my butt has become perkier. (serious) and finally increased the number of people i know in brissy to more than how much u can count with one finger. *yAaY

so tat's brisbane from a vantage point. bit like an urban jungle don't ya think? personally i think the view in perth is prettier. brissy-city seems to me like urban-sprawl but then again, it's got its perks-- more life. more people. more dust. haha

and those are the shiniest buildings i spotted in brissy-city. very good for the vain birds. haha! ooh, apparently there are as many butcher-birds in brissy as there are crows in wa! (according to my astute observation) and no i did not make the bird name up. they swoop down randomly and attack cyclists thus their name. or at least tat's wat i've heard anyways.

so i feel a little disconnected from God which is weird cos i was really confident tat this leap/stretch of faith would enhance our relationship. guess it's too easy to become distracted with all tat's happening. now, i'm just holding on to heb10:35,36

"therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised."

ah, God is good all the time.
